Will Ng
Financial Secretary
Brothers and Sisters,
As a proud second-generation member of IBEW Local 26, I have experienced firsthand the value of union solidarity and leadership. I am honored to seek your support for the position of Financial Secretary—a role that has been defined by integrity and excellence through the service of Brother Chris Cash and, before him, Brother Joe Dabbs. I am committed to upholding the high standards they have set while continuing to strengthen the financial foundation of our union.
After earning my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, I returned to the trade and graduated from the IBEW Local 26 JATC program—bringing together a background in business and a deep respect for the craft. In 2021, I was appointed as Referral Agent, where I led the modernization of our referral system by launching an online platform to safely manage referrals during the pandemic. I also introduced Zoom orientation sessions to increase accessibility and implemented a real-time analytics database that significantly improved operational efficiency and reduced costs.
I currently serve on the Board of Trustees for both the LMCC and the JATC and am a proud member of the Local 26 Financial Committee. These roles have deepened my understanding of our union’s financial landscape and prepared me to manage our operations with transparency, accountability, and long-term vision.
If elected as your Financial Secretary, I will work to maintain the highest standards of financial stewardship, provide clear and accessible reporting to empower our members, and continue to modernize financial processes so that managing dues and expenses becomes more efficient and accessible for all.
Local 26 is more than a union—it’s a legacy of excellence and solidarity. I respectfully ask for your vote and your trust as we continue building a future where every member feels empowered, and every voice is heard.
Fraternally,
Will Ng
