A Legacy of Progress: Thomas Myers' Commitment to Local 26

Thomas Myers, a dedicated 25+ year member of Local 26, has profoundly contributed to the union through leadership grounded in experience and determination. Over the last 25 years, I have served in various roles, including apprentice, journeyman, foreman, instructor, and currently as President. My focus, as President on improving pay, benefits, conditions and work life balance has improved the lives of our Brothers and Sisters and made unheard of strides in contract language.

I would like to emphasizes the importance of remembering past struggles and victories, urging members to appreciate how far the union has come. My past nine years as President blends vision, hard work, and responsibility, fostering community and solidarity and growth.

Looking Ahead

I am committed to continuing the progress of Local 26 with the support of each of you. I believe in the power of collective action, and our union is poised for an even brighter future as I continue (with your support) as President, the role where I believe I can continue to best work for you.
